Their version of snickers 59p for 8 not quite the same but half the price.
Anyone tried Aldi's 'Racer' bars? - Their version of Snickers?I take them on bike rides and gave one to a friend in the dark (stop it!) - So he had no idea what he was eating, then made a comment afterwards that it was the best tasting Snickers he'd had.

Just bought 2 packs from Thamesmead store (wore my stab vest ) so will see what they are like...
The review was not that bad ("...it is still pretty delicious") & do we really expect the pukka real McCoy for £2.99 when it's normally £120 per steak?
Finally tried them - nice/different but far too salty! The review was not that bad ("...it is still pretty delicious") & do we really expect the pukka real McCoy for £2.99 when it's normally £120 per steak?
Won't be back in a hurry & am more of a Lidl fan anyhow!
Just now got to try some real Wagyu beef!

The 5 bird roast is half price at the moment at £5. Anyone tried it, bought one this morning, will have it over the weekend and report back.
They are pretty good and at that price a veritable "Bobby Bargain"FiF said:
Lidl chorizo definitely recommended.
I love this stuff and almost always have some in the fridge for use in about half the stuff I cook, it's lovely. Also recently had the fancy 'Deluxe' toffee sponge dessert from Lidl which is fairly amazing. It's ridiculously rich and gooey and great with icecream
And the Passions Salt & Pepper crisps in Aldi are realy nice, crunchy and very peppery.
Mature Gouda from Aldi (i think) is pretty good too. Pleased that both Lidl and Aldi are expanding their cheese ranges a lot, there's some gems to be had now. I remember when they both only had 2 or 3 things (cheap cheddars) at most now there's probably over 20 different cheeses in Aldi, some of which are quite decent.

In a long tin and from Lidl. We bought it once then again days later when friend's came round as it was lovely.make sure to be a disgusting pig like me and scrape out every last bit of the sauce that gets stuck in the ridges in the foil.

Thank you very much, I sure will make sure to be a disgusting pig like me and scrape out every last bit of the sauce that gets stuck in the ridges in the foil.
