Hello all,

I've recently moved to the south coast due to a new job and I'm looking for affordable ways of getting out on the water.

Although I work in the motorboat sector I equally enjoy 'true' sailing. I'm a qualified RYA Skipper but I'm equally at home being a mere deckhand. I'm happy to get involved with all aspects, so if you need a pair of hands for cleaning and general maintainance I'm happy to get stuck in.

I'm based in Poole but I'm happy to travel to Portsmouth in the east, or Weymouth in the West.

Motor or Sail, Cruising or Racing, I'm up for it.

Regards,
Olly

Likewise. If you happen to find someone looking for multiple crew, I'd be happy to come along. I'm based in Lymington. Work in the power boat leisure industry.

If you've any interest in volunteering with an organisation rather than to private individuals, i'm sure these guys would love to hear from you:

http://tallships.org/volunteer/

I sailed from the Carribean to the Azores on their Brig and it was superb. The only reason i'm not a volunteer now is that I live quite far away. Just an alternative you might not have considered.

I'm in Austria / China etc. until May, but will be back on the water, inshallah, shortly afterwards.

Always looking for a spare pair of hands, especially if the new yacht comes off this year.

The Elan ?
Yup, having a clearout of cars, which should fund a bigger boat.

But not totally decided yet, still getting my head around the recent new toy, not quite ready for more retail therapy just yet. wink
