So, the kit should be here tomorrow from Furniture Clinic - so I have broken the Driver seat in half, given it a clean (although you wouldn't really notice) and took some 'before' pics... Ever wonder why your seat sags? Broken wires and the also the foam is cut (sliced) by those darn wires.... Will update the thread once I finish the job... Nosh

Look forward to seeing results + any tips you have. Planning the same for my chairs (as soon as I've finished putting the MG back together).
Did you send off a sample of leather for colour match or have you gone for 'TVR magnolia'?

I think there's a fair few of us in need of doing something the same in terms of refurb of our seats, so I'd be really interested to see the results and to understand how hard it was to apply and some costs Keep us posted if poss please Cheers Graeme

my trimmer put some 1 1/2 inch wide webbing front to back, and side to side, and deleted the cheese wire thing. also used some firmer blue foam in the middle part of the squab.
used some bent wire as a frame to to clip the seat squab trim clips to. once the wire stuff was removed.
worked perfect, and only cost a few quid

I used F/C kit a few weeks ago. I could,nt get ot with the poxy little airbrush that came with it.I ended up applying 4 colour coats & 4 sealer coats with the sponge instead. I,m really pleased with the finish ,but if your going to spray, I would suggest hiring one of their compressors. My seats were in about the same condition as your pictured ones.

Quick update - here are some pics, and I am just waiting for the final colour coat, I just sprayed, to dry. No probs with the airbrush - during each drying session, I put the propellant can in a saucepan of warm water - no issues with spluttering etc... A very nice result - see for yourself... Nosh

So, £61.95 in total. I have also noticed that the final coat (satin) looks too 'dull' - in comparison with the 'arse on' half of the seat, which looks gloss, rather than satin. I may put a gloss coat on top of the back bit, but will wait till after I have done the 'arse' bit, which I am tackling today. Nosh.

Will it do the vinyl centre consol doors bits and can you get a type of filler for small niks ,cuts etc. Will that kit do both seats and the vinyl bits.
