Pretty cool eh? Was fairly cheap as it belonged to a friends FiL and just right for me. Alloy wheels, swivel/reclining seat, lights, hazards, indicators (which work smile ) horn and best of all, topless so some summer fun.

Plans for the future include a tube at the back for my walking stick, loads of mirrors and a racing stripe. Thinking about a couple of extra lights/DRL at the front, but that may be going to far...

Battery cover is a luscious blue colour, but off at the mo' as we need to charge the batteries and the dedicated charger has gone walkies. When my mate dropped it off we razzed up and down the road, did some skidz and slides (pathetic until we WD40d the rear tyres) but it won't wheely frown. It will, however, do 8MPH in high gear and it's got reverse and a brake!

No, this isn't a pee take, I actually do need one as my spine and I no longer get on and it no longer wants to support my weight - miserable bloody thing. Never mind, chin up and all that!

What'cha think of my new wheels then?

Indeed! A nice little 600 four would go down very well... but then again, it was a bloody motorbike that got me in this state in the first place. smile Mind you, that was many, many years ago.

I think it looks pretty groovy mate.

I hope you dont take offence to this but, i have always fancied a go on one of theese. Looks like it could be alot of fun to whizz around tescos with every dithering pr**k getting out of you way smile Obvoisly i dont want to be put in a position to have to use one but im sure you get what i mean.

If you dont mind me asking what happened with the bike crash?

Bike crash? Well, many moons ago (when I was but 8 days past my 16th birthday) I decided, as is the way of all young men, to show off to the girlies in the chip shop during school dinner hour. So, there I was weaving in and out of the white lines on my (totally illegal) Kawasaki S2 350 when a lorry came round the corner towards me. "Hmmm, tricky" thought I, decided to plant the bike into the back of the Parked Transit van on my left rather than the front of the artic coming towards me at some speed.

Bike hit Transit, I hit Transit, I went over the top of Transit, Bike went over top of Transit and bloody landed on me! Gitting thing!!!!!

I broke... well, most things really but buggered my back was the worst thing but it took years to develop to the stage where I couldn't really walk much anymore. Spent months in hospital chasing all the student nurses - it was fun in a curious way!

MPG?

Should have got a Sinclair C5, much cooler. Although I might be slightly biased.

Go onto Channel 4 OD and have a look at Episode 1 Series 5 of Skins to see how much mayhem can be created with one of these.
