Anyone bought or sold recently? Is there still high demand for these?

Been offered an '03 65k One for £1.8k. Couple of minor things wrong but not sure if I should go for it.

Thanks

Scratch on door and the common central locking problem where passenger door does not open automatically.

They're not in demand, some are over 10 years old now and some of the early cars weren't so great compared to the facelift models.

Seems quite cheap, is it a hideous colour or lacking history? I sold my 51 plate Cooper six months ago for £3500 but it was in a good colour with lots of history.

Lots of little niggles crop up on the older ones which can quickly swallow up several hundred quid fixing.

This colour?

Sounds good for the money, personally I prefer the darker metallic colours but they sold loads of that colour so people must like it.

So long as the scratch isn't too bad and the central locking fault is something simple (ie not water getting into the Body Control Unit - check the drivers footwell under the carpet for water) it would be a bit of a bargain at that price.

Just sold my Mini Cooper S on a 53 plate but with 90k miles. It was in good condition and reasonably well specced inc. a sunroof. Managed to get £3,900 for it which I felt was a good/fair price.
