Too generic a question for me to be able to help

Job boards become sucessful because of a specialism (usually)

Monster or Cv Libary are the biggest - but are very broad

Better to use specialists

I posted mine on Totaljobs.com, CVLibrary.com, Monster and Reed. All the responses I got were from recruitment consultants and I think I had four phone calls from people seeing my CV on Totaljobs within about an hour of posting it. I've been contacted by around a dozen recruitment consultants and most of those saw my CV on Total and CVlibrary with a couple each from Monster and Reed.

It probably depends what you're looking for. I'm in Financial Services and am looking for a management role and quite a chunky salary (please) within a 40 mile radius from home. I'm not sure how good these web sites are if you're looking for a more average job in your local town.

They're all free to post on so I would just put your CV on several and see what happens.

Why not apply for roles directly? If you've got the competencies required you may have more success?

I've a few irons in the fire, which have been word of mouth really but having never really written or needed a CV I suppose knowledge of how to gain greater coverage is handy.

beware of jobsite - you'l get a stack of replies from agencies looking for "Managers " .Prime qualifications are havin a UK bank acount ,and being UK citazens. PH advice was that this is a scam . So BEWARE .
