Hi guys,

I own a GMC Typhoon and there are only about 25 in the UK. A friend sold one to another guy a few years ago and I am trying to track him down and get a little club together.

Is there any legitimate way that I can request the adress or get a message to the owner?

The car is registered but I have no idea if that means anything - I looked on MID.

K827 YDV if anyone is curious...

DVLA will only share the info if I am seeking payment/damages etc etc. Not the case with me, just a private individual with a pic from 4 years ago.

Am I S*** out of luck?

Thanks!

Mark

If you send a letter to them requesting that they forward a letter on to the RK of the vehicle, with the letter to the RK of that vehicle included in the envelope so that they can read it and make sure it's not threatening, along with a prepaid envelope, they should forward it on for you smile

That's not a bad idea - I'll give that a whirl.

Is that policy or are you assuming the milk of human kindness is abundant in Swansea these days? biggrin

I am such a cynic biggrin

I'm not sure if it's a policy or not, but I have heard of it being done before
