Just how pissed do you have to be to not see a passenger ferry?! Or avoid it, I mean they're hardly the greyhounds of the sea are they?

Collisions at sea have always slightly baffled me, unless it's reduced viz.

Boats don't have brakes. Big boats handle don't handle like an elise. Pissed people can't judge distances well. People do unexpected things.
