I have never wanted a Boxster before. Now I want one more than any other other car in the world. I *will* own one of these in the next couple of years. I know recreations are contentious, but this is more a homage to my mind. Absolutely stunning. Link here; Clicky

I must say I'm with the OP on this one, a thing of beauty. Interested to know where it fails, perhaps because it's a boxster?

Front splitter and daft wheels. Either make a rep of a classic car or don't bother and design something new and fresh.

16" Fuchs, more tyre, lose the s tter and raise it a touch. Only worry is the overall size of it. It could monster a 904 i reckon.

I love it - it's absolutely gorgeous. Always wanted to like to the 904 but it's just soooo small and (whisper it) a little bit weedy looking. This is amazing. One of the best homages I've seen. Love this pic..

The one above to me is in a similar vein to the Singer "911", but taken to even more extreme cartoon proportions on those huge wheels and daft ride height. Compare to this: Walter Rohrl driving a real one: http://youtu.be/-2F4y5O3XeA

Almost seems to be a cross between a 904 and a chevron B8

Surely the whole attraction of the 904 is that it's so lithe and delicate. Why you'd want to bolt on a set of ludicrous bling wheels and aero bits is beyond me. There's a company in the US, I believe, that builds 904 reps ground up with tubular chassis and for a fraction of the price of the real thing. That would be my preference.

Same here or dare I say it on a Porsche forum one of these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSDiA2klltI... I know I know not a remotely original idea but I have wanted a proper gt40 rep for as long as I could remember.
