1987 944 2.5 running rich what do i do???

got a problem with my 944 its running rich does anyone know what i can do?

It could be a lot of things but if it's running very rich check your fuel pressure reg, if a little bit rich check the water temp sendor for the dme.

I have a 944s 16V and that smells very rich and i started to worry abit about it, so i got the emissions checked and it was only0.5 over the average. I have also been in several other 944s and they all smelt rich. So i think they all must small like that. BUT DONT QUOTE ME ON IT, BUT IT MADE ME FEEL BETTER.
