I'm sure this has been brought up on here before. But its taken them so long to make it many doubt its ever going to see the light of day. But according to their FB page, this things slowly coming to completion. I bloody hope so!

For those who dont know what this is about, its essentially about the old days of cannon ball run style driving. As in proper, real people attempting to cross the USA in the shortest time possible. I believe the film is mostly about the history of it all, but it should also be covering Alex Roy's attempts. If anyones read his book, The Driver, then it should make for a good watch. The lengths he went to to prepare himself and his E39 M5 for the dash across the US sound crazy and by what he has written, the challenge nearly consumed him. I believe he also managed it, unofficially, in 31 hours 45 minutes. The director of this movie went along for the ride as well, so I hope its going to be in there! and good!

Anyone else (still) looking forward to this?

Not if Alex Roy features heavily in it. A documentary style show about the original '70s Cannonball Runs would be good though.
