GTE spoiler

Anyone konw if aftermarket versions of these are available? They look awesome and totally transform the back end, which I have always thought looks a bit out of proportion. They utilise existing fittings apparently...happy days...would love one!

Best bet would be the Evora GT4 rear spoiler I'd think.

Try Mansory, as the GT4 spoiler doesn't have a CHMSL, so you might have issues come MOT time.
To be honest though, it looks rubbish fitted to a standard road car so people will point and laugh.

£3750 for GTE kit....erm....dont think so! Guess I won't get one down Halfords then (joke)....the last spoiler I got there was £90 and it did 'spoil' the car. Hoped I'd get one for the Evora for £500ish.

You raise an interesting point there actually - the Lotus F1 Team Edition Evora GTE is the first one to actually feature the CHMSL. In fact if you look at the shots from Geneva even the White Evora GTE behind it is missing this. In one of the shots you can see it's a separate unit bolted on to the main plane of the wing.

Looking at the Evora S they entered in to the Gumball 3000 and fitted with the Evora GT4 bodywork last year they never bothered to address this as it ran without one.

They should be able to supply the parts individually, if you're really interested I'd give them a call on the number in the brochure. I've got some pictures of the Gumball car with (most) the stickers removed if you want to see what it looked like - had the rear spoiler, diffuser, exhaust, engine cover, running boards and splitter all fitted.

Actually, they've all featured a C(H)MSL it's just they were mounted in the rear bumper, so technically not road legal; just like the tinting on the rear lamps. Fine for show cars though.

Ah had spotted something in the rear bumper, but as you say it looked too far from the rear window to satisfy the legal requirement so had ignored it.
