Before my Evora....

Someone mentioned in a previous thread it would interesting to hear what people have moved from, and why.

I came out of a new Morgan 4/4 Sport and an R129 SL500. The Evora did the job of two cars being a toy and fitting the kids in, but am starting to miss the topless bit. So something is on the way to compensate!

Simple reason - I needed a new daily driver and it was either an Evora or Jag. The Evora was more stylish and drove better for me.

Elise 111S (K Series) - loved it, would have both if I could but wanted something a bit more grown up, more passenger/luggage space and mod cons.

Subaru Tribeca and BMW 520D... keeping both but can't wait to pick Evora up. Missed my Elise for a long time!

Most recent was a 111R for 4 years then S1 111S 5 years ( in between a Boxster 987 S for 7 months! - alongside the Elise), then S1 2 years ( when they launched) and before a string of older Loti. I am very pleased with the move from Elise to Evora.

Usually have 2 cars in the household but before I changed for the Evora I had the following in the same year I changed to the Evora::
Lotus Elise 111R (had it for 4 years, S1 Elise 111S before that)
Mitsubishi Evo VIII FQ-330 (daily car for 3 1/2years)
Mk1 Golf Clipper Cabriolet (kept for a year)

Traded the Elise 111R for the Evora as it made most sense. Was thinking of keeping the Elise/Evora but we probably wouldn't use it as much.
