Garlick loves stickers, this is a fact so he loves my cars, will be at lots of shows this year and the up coming sunday service. but first the pic history, i bought this last august 2011, loved it and told girlfriend i bought one i liked so i wouldn't need to fiddle like i did to the old mazda 2, but as you will see i played and have just ended up back at the start hahahaha.

first up, the out going 2 just for memories.

( i like horrid contrast)

on to the mx5.
when i got it home.

bought a hard top

quieter exhaust and some bucketness

green wheels back from the dead for winter

winter mode

then fiddling for a bit with wheels etc

and as she stands today although i have bits in the post so little changes will happen soon.

handles like a beast, 8 wide wheels grip for days, springs set nice and hard, its a lover on the roads (however as stated speed bumps are a git, but do what they are meant to for me, slow me down at them)

Because tons of rubber and stiff springs equals good handling. You may be right about how it handles, but I can't imagine you are by looking at it!

Looks ruined, hope you never have to sell it on.

I would wager that the handling is substantially worse than when it left the factory.

That's great all it needs now is the engine bay sticker bombing and a cute little Yoda or similar trinket hanging off the rear valance.

What good is having 8 inch wide wheels for grip when you only have at most 6 inches of tyre in contact with the ground?

Mine are only 15" where as his are 16" both are ET0 offset (I think), so I don't understand why his stick out so much further than mine.

Edit: sorry, my mistake. I think that picture is of a banded g60 wheel.
