...as well as the interior I've also started to look at ways of sprucing up the outer looks of the Evora and started off by painting the outer break callipers red - which looks a good colour for a dark car.

nice finish.
can you share the approach you took.
Did you leave the calipers on? What did you mask off? What paint did you use?

Be careful with your metal dust caps as sure I remember another Evora owner had his welded on when the car was given a good drive, just in case. Thinkthe heat welded them to tethered.

Oops, sorry, ain't visited for a bit... In answer to questions, it was very easy. I paid someone to do it smile

But seriously, the patience and time involved was not something I had time to do, so just got my local lotus garage to do it for me. And on this, they did a very good job.

Would you mind sharing how much they charged for this, looks like they did a decent job.
Did they do the entire calliper, or just the front visible parts?

It cost about 170 for the front set and 170 for the back set, plus 20% vat and 12 pounds for the paint.

The labour was a lot due to the time spent to do the job.

The whole calliper is painted.

Might be cheaper places I'm sure, but they did a good job on it which was the main thing.
