Hi all

my CSL's oil indicator does not work. It's reading is stuck.

Anyone else had this problem?

What do you mean by "stuck"? Do you mean always showing '--' on the long-term?

If so it may be that you're not doing enough long journeys for it to get a reading.

When I had mine it would show that for weeks when I was just going from home to work and back (about 5 miles).

Sorry, me not being clear. It shows +0.7 all the time. I've just had an oil change and it still shows 0.7

I personally wouldn't let it get lower than 0.4L and higher than 1.0L.

If you track the car best get the car home, cool down and take out the next day to get a true reading other wise you may over fill.

The electronic digital gauge is not giving you the reading for the total amount of oil.

Also after putting in say 0,2L of a litre it will take a few miles to register, the digital gauge also doesn't like short journeys.
