What was this?

Hi,

I was around Snowdonia on Friday and there was a guy flying around in the air in all I can describe as a canoe attached to a parachute. It had an engine with propeller, it looked amazing. He was doing 360s, backflips and all sorts.

Anyone got any ideas?

needs microlight licence NPPL(M) and not sure he should be doing aerobatics!

Forgive my ignorance I'm not from around these parts.

The parachute bit was just like this but the bit with the guy in was not. Like I say more like a canoe/torpedo he was sat in, no wheels as far as I could see.

Probably a powered paraglider. You get all sorts of harnesses from seated to near prone.
