Can you get a bike rack on a tuscan?
Discussion
A somewhat rediculous question I know but I'm hoping to be the new owner of a tuscan in a couple of weeks and it would be nice to get a bike on the back. Is this possible without damage? Am I a nutter to even conceive of the idea?
If it's a no, that's fine, but if someone has managed it would be great to know!

1 Bike will fit in the boot fine, you will need to take both wheels off, seat post out and take handle bars off or loosen stem and turn 90 deg. Seen it done with several racers, get a soft bike bag or towels to make sure carpets don't get marked with pressure/oil etc. I would never use a bike rack, it will definitely damage the body work and paint.
Just noticed these on eBay, must be for a different type of TVR Tuscan because they won't fit mine

Couple of years ago girly wanted to ride to chatsworth on her mountain bike whilst I went in the Tuscan to the yearly meet. Wheels off, seat post out and handle bar out got the bike comfortably in the boot no problemo. Take loads of unwanted towels thought to protect the car from the chain and chainring.
If you're prepared to spend 10 mins at either end dismantling and assembling then as one poster has already said, you can get a bike in the boot and with the roof stowed as well.
You will need to remove both wheels and the saddle stem which is pretty quick. You will also need to release the front forks but, again, that's a two minute job (ask your local bike shop to show you how - i did - it's easy). I go to Dorset every year for a week with a few mates for golf and some mtb - I get my clubs, bike, bike clobber and all other bits in the boot - if I want the lid off I'm prepared to let some air out of the tyres to fit the roof in the boot but that's my choice - just make sure you pack a decent pump!
Best of luck!

Trying to understand how letting air out of the tyres of your car helps to fit the roof in the boot ??Best of luck!
