Job interview production planner specilised metal

Hi I have an interview for a production planner role, for which I have no specific experience but have a good understanding of planning etc in other industries.

The company produces specialist metal products (not steel, aluminium etc) Just wondered if there are any tips or anybody in a similar role.

I'm in Production Planning - job roles vary widely, but I'd read up on a bit of MRP systems theory (just the basic workings of it - ultimately it's just a big calculator!) if you're not already familiar with it!
