Now, I'm in total agreement that the NZ driving test needs to be tougher, but if this is any indication, this new rigour is another red herring. It's not like this guy was going for a taxi licence. Is there any added emphasis on indicating or evidence of forward thinking-of ability to read road conditions/potential hazards? Are these people all being failed for such catch-you-out pedantic reasons -or is there some actual improvement?
