cheers. Its been a long time coming, looked at a couple of examples prior to this one but this one felt spot on. Will be collecting it at the weekend so not too long to wait. Can't wait.

Ah, the anticipation of getting a new car which also means that this week will pass by so slowly. Renault are not my strong point (so please excuse my ignorance) but are there any mods that you have planned for it, or are they decent from the factory not to warrant any modifications?

Lastly, are you going to do a concluding post with your Fiat on your Readers Ride thread? smile

Modifications are a possibility, induction kit, braided brake hoses, dot5.1 fluid and discs and pads when I have worn them out smile

With my car being a Cup model its slightly different to a regular 197 but I don't plan on upgrading the suspension as it feels awesome in standard form.

Scroll across to 197 Cup and here is the info you need to tell the difference from a 197 and a 197 Cup. Mine does without A/C, auto mirrors, Recaro seats which I would have liked but I got a bargain with this car and alao my car has the standard wheels, not the optional Speedline Clio Cup wheels.

Yes I will do a conclusion on the Punto. I pick the Clio up on Friday.

Im loving the idea of something small, fun, fast and possibly a collectors item in the future. If i only had £38k to spend on a car it definitely wouldn't be this, but if i had a few hundred thousand for a fleet of cars, id definitely add this to the list!

There are more mods that you are able to do than I initially thought. I bet it is going to be a great companion on the twisty back roads. Enjoy! thumbup

In other news, this Audi S3 is quite nice.

Thank goodness! smile

(Although I may cheekily seek a fuel card to go with it...but it's a wee way off for now.)

38k! Nice car but they do seem to be getting very expensive. It wasn't that long ago the 1M was released and it wasn't far off that price.

I think the leasing culture has boosted the price of new cars.

Because family insist I get a sensible hatchback that can seat 4.

So I'm picking this up on Monday.

I think it fits the criteria....

Yeah, it fits perfectly...I guess you can be forgiven!
