Gotta say, they nailed it with that one. I am even surprised about how good the IS-F looks on the road (looks crap on pictures). Very fresh designs from Lexus these days, I like their edgy and hyper modern theme (knowing that it's not for everybody).

Indeed, went to have a look at the new IS, and it looks so much better than pictures would portray. The interior is very nice too. Local dealer says they will have the RC-F demo in by end of the year. can't wait to have a look. biggrin

Quite liking the look of the new Polo GTI. Pictures leaked out earlier today, 1.8 TSI engine and option of a Manual 'box should satisfy a lot of people.

I'll admit it's been going on for a few days, but I can't get the thought of this 3-car garage out of my mind:

The M5 is pretty much interchangeable with this:

But, at the moment, I can't stop looking at the VW Golf 25th Anniversary. I want one as my motorway car.

I have been obsessing about the Opel Senator "A". The first series has that straight six, RWD and really agreeable interiors compared to what Mercedes and BMW and Ford offered. The one I have my eye on is a 1982 model in Ruesselsheim, Germany: dark blue with a blue velour interior. Does anyone else think this car unduly neglected?

I keep looking at these myself as a long term sensible car.

I think I'd go for the DSG too, will definitely be booking a test drive when it reaches the UK smile

Agreed but current generation is just a touch too expensive and unreliable. I went for a boring Mk6 Golf instead but could maybe change again next year.

Yep, specced one up and got to £20k or so, have seen some 2nd hand at about £14ish, but still outside my budget when trying to save for a house.

A winter car and a weekend toy

I've decided that those two (along with the Golf) would be my ideal/ affordable-ish 3 car fleet smile

Haha, before bidding just remember that America's laws on what constitutes legally roadworthy seem a lot strict than the UK's.

Currently got thoughts about swapping the silvia for a Volvo V70 T5R... In blue, no other colour.

If not one of them, a red 850 T5R with the R design alloys please! So hard to find any decent ones for sale, there's a v70 but too far away and the advert isn't the best.

Bit different but saw this earlier and now need one with some off road tyres. Not entirely sure why, I live in a city, have nowhere to put it and no money to pay for it's insurance and upkeep. Best stay off the beers and ebay tonight silly

Absolutely this. It's the only brand new car, along with the forthcoming Mercedes AMG-GT that I'd really love to own (and be able to afford!).
