After pondering this for a few days - i mean really pondering!! my thoughts are now no. It is too perfect. what would i do with it. Would i not be better off with a project i could develop myself for the money spend.

The journey, not the destination!

I'm not too fussed about the wheels. I like the 2.9 turbo V6 from Ferrari originally destined for the 6C but mounted on a proper gearbox. It makes the XFR look like an old mans car. wink
3.0 and 4C shirely? I really like the look of it, sounds pretty nice too.

Under £10k and 80k miles as well - almost a sensible, economic choice!

And another Car and Classic special...

I am so close to driving up there right now but it would be a really stupid thing to do. frown

I've been looking at 3.8 and 4.0 manuals for a while now.

Liking the look of this M3. As usual nothing but a pipe dream though! I've never been an E90 coupe fan but this looks mega.

It might be fun but you would probably end up with something nowhere near as resolved as the Singer and ultimately worth a lot less.

As to what would you do with it that's easy. Drive it lots and then lick it clean.

I know people are going on about the V8 and V6 but this will be the first front engine rear wheel drive four pot turbo powered Ford in the UK since the original Sierra RS and RS500

I'm sure I wrote three door or coupe' when I did that.

Top lurking. thumbup

I wouldn't want to see a four door Mustang, Challenger instead. smile

I just had a sudden urge of boredom so I bothered to add it laugh

But I too really like the Ecoboost Mustang.

THESE, retro themed GT86s that were on display/in use at Goodwood. I'd happily take any of them and not feel like too much of a muppet using them on the road.

I think I just had palpitations. That's just beautiful.

Further down the scale, there's a GT86 near me that I can't afford this year because we need some building work done... tempted though. Might look at something similar next year instead, if blearyeyedgirl can be persuaded* that we don't need rear doors...

* blearyeyedgirl has never been persuaded in several years, so more realistically I'll be looking at hot hatches and nice saloons. I can admire GT86/BRZ's though!hehe
