A comedy drama by Ricky Grvais on next Thursday at 9.

The ad looks interesting, possibly awkward. I thought the character Gervais was playing was special needs at first, but he is a care at a retirement home. It also seems to have that idiot from idiot abroad. He is not an actor, he might be good might be awful, might be real.

From the clips I've watched it looks rubbish. Hopefully be proven wrong.

Big fan of his previous work up until Life's to short which I felt was a complete let down..

The KP character seems to be the same old KP.

I've always stood by the fact that it's all put on, seems he's a bit of a Nick Cage!

I have mixed feelings from the trailers, but I do like dark comedy and serious comedy.

I dont know why people dont like Karl Pilkington, he's brilliant.

Ricky Gervais is a one trick pony. And that pony stopped being funny about 8 years ago.

The mockumentary style might be tad overused today, but I still like it!

This is NOT the usual Ricky Gervais thing.

I have not seen it yet, but I heard the review of it on Five Live. By all accounts it is more drama than comedy, so don't expect the usual awkward laughs.

It seems that Gervais is genuinely looking to show he is not a one trick pony.

And by all accounts the press viewing was good. Cynical Journo's going there to shoot Gervais down, pretty much universally liked it.

It is indeed, although he has been reported as saying that he is slowly working on a series.
