£8k, and that's one hell of a spec list. I've been trying to convince a mate to buy it for a while now.

This one will do it for me this evening.

On sale right here on Pistonheads

Simon Bainbridge's old championship-winning, multiple-record-setting S2 hillclimb racer. The advert is written in all caps (shudder) and they're only claiming 329bhp from something that was purported to be running closer to 600 throughout most of it's life, but I'd have it in a heartbeat. Though maybe not at £26k.

Not particularly keen on the wheels however.

Modern Audi are not usually my thing. That is pretty sweet though. I imagine it sounds just as good too?

Mk2 looks crazy. But it would be better if it wasn't suffering from a big/small bumper identity crisis.

You may be wondering why I've posted something that should be rotting on the front law of a council house c.1988

£5,500 asking, seemed good value given the spec.

I think you may be right.....I must say that doesn't inspire confidence in the owner does it?

Guy on an Australian VW Golf forum I'm on.

Yeah, a Mk4 R32 with lowered suspension and shiny wheels. Big deal.

This might be more interesting.

I find this even more interesting.

That is at the wheels. Not the engine. Take into account 30% drivetrain loss...
