We have a family of Robins in the trees out the back and are very regular visitors.

What lens was this taken with Rob? I wish I had the sort of glass that could zoom that close and stay that crisp!

A piece of junk old 70-300 nikor on a d90 (push pull variant)! ..borrowed as I didnt have my camera with me....

Edit:
It was tricky dealing with the nikon, poor af and buttons all in the wrong place BUT Muriwai on a good day for Gannets is like shooting fish in a barrel, almost no skill needed.

Jasper in Canada. We saw a few of these but not a clue what they were, looked a bit like Marmots.
Also got confused between Elk and Carabou (it turns out we only saw elk).

Not paticularly good at this nature stuff, thankfully my wife is worse so I can just make it up as I go along.

curtisl, I'm relatively new to this photography lark but have been interested in wildlife all my life. I am finding that some 'light in the eye' makes a huge difference.
You have captured that in your shots of the tree rat squirrel.I'm sorry I can't really help you beyond that on the technical side.
I don't like the black and white so much.

Have a stag.

nowhere near as good as the red stag pic above, but these two deer appear in the waste ground behind our flat now and again.
