This woolly jumper decided that the grass was greener on my side of the fence this morning and jumped across from her field to have a look. She then took fright and jumped across my wall onto the main road next to my house causing cars to screech to a halt. By chance a passing Police car (how often does that ever happen?) stopped and the two PCs got out and herded her back to her field. A happy ending I'm pleased to say:

After spending quite a few weekends wandering round the New Forest,i finally got to see my first Red Deer Stag.So chuffed as i had given up for the day and had a fair hike back to the car before the light went.Not the best shot but at least i now know where they are,will be up early tomorrow and have another go Red Stag by sinky 911, on Flickr
