Anyone know if the beeb will have practice on, on the red button? Would be handy to know before I bother getting up at 3am for P1!

I'm predicting Jenson, Lewis and Kimi for the podium. I think he'll have the 'normal' race he needs this weekend and we'll see the his and the cars true race pace.
You're being a bit optimistic with Kimi,i think.I reckon we will see him up there, but maybe not quite this early in the season.
I think if he has a clear weekend he'll be up there. The car seems to have the potential and I think he's determined to stick a good performance in.

I admire your optimism!
Highly likely to be another wet race, so you never know!

Looking forward to watching the pre-race on Beeb. I may switch to Sky for the actual race as it'll all much of a muchness, just need to decide if I prefer DC or MB on the Mic.

Dry race:
1. Lewis
2. Webber
3. Vettel

Wet race:
1. Jenson
2. Perez
3. Alonso

Now it's guaranteed that I'll be entirely wrong, having covered all bases!

Some of these rules are so annoying. I don't see what they add to the sport - so far we've seen fans of Kimi robbed of a potential podium and race up at the front, and now fans of Hamilton the same.

:/

Do you have a source for this?

As for Lotus, I can't help but wonder if this is now due to them having less money to spend on development!

Cant see this being the last of it, I suspect Lotus will not appeal that ruling, which is a shame, as there is already enough politics (Bahrain) detracting from what should be a very close and hard fought season.

nice audi driver

It's not about adding to the sport, but making sure the teams do everything in their power to stick to the required intervals for engine/gbox changes. Give F1 engineers an inch and they'll take several miles.

I know, but in this case it's a stupid rule.

Why does it matter if they use a gearbox every race?
Why does a driver get penalised for the team's cockup?
Why does a manufactured grid slot make for better viewing or a better championship?

Blah blah. Kimi's penalty annoyed me last time and this time it's Lewis. It seems a straight fight for the win isn't going to happen any time soon.
