Sorry if I'm incorrect, but are you going to sell their logo? I'd be careful if I were you if you are. It's a bit naughty.

Stickers/signs on cars;

You've driven the Nordschleife.

Letting the rest of us know you can breed/are a princess.

Same, same and equally ste. We don't care.
I find that a bit short-sighted. To me it shows that the car owner is an enthusiast, and I do not think it is a bad thing at all. How does it differ from having a Pistonheads sticker, for instance? Or do you slag them off too?

Unless you can get these sold through the official channels, then I think you will be headed for trouble, as others have said above. That is a copyrighted logo and I can imagine they will not allow you to use it.

Additionally, as was said above, getting a 'ring sticker by post is not in keeping with the spirit of having a 'ring sticker. Surely you get one in the shop after you have driven the track, no..?

I am speaking to the company who own and operate the Nurburgring already. If they don't grant me a license to sell it, I wont sell it - I'm not taking any risks here. I don't see this as something that's gonna make me millions, it was just an idea I took to stage 2 and still liked. As I have written, the initial idea was to wholesale it the company who own the 'ring for them to retail through their official channels, but for reasons unknown to me after some very positive initial exchanges, they said no thank you. So it's a case of where now? Seems a shame just to let it die after doing the initial design work etc... Did think VXR Nurburgring owners might be interested? Alternatively, I have considered only selling it to people who could prove they have driven the 'ring - should keep the purists happy but might limit sales somewhat?

Paragraphs would help.

And there was me thinking that Nurburgring stickers had long since passed through the cool stage and into cliche.

If you've ever seen one of those Vauxhall Corsa Nurburgring editions you'd understand why.

Tbh I spy a few ring stickers about but you can always tell which are "genuine" bought at the ring ones from the eBay snides.

Quite why you'd buy one if you'd not been I'll never know?

Isn't the whole ring badge thing a little two years ago now. Perhaps a little naff as well, rather like white or matt black vinyl wraps.

Taste aside, these would not be very practical. They will be dirt traps. At least a sticker can be cleaned properly.

They're exactly the same as the Carbon Fibre adhesive badges on sale at the 'Ring. Isn't this their copyright?

Having been to the 'ring I think going there, lapping, then buying the badge is part of the experience.

I wouldn't buy them, and sorry to be a prude, but I really hate copyright theft.
I agree.

I would be tempted if these were sold in the ring shop and I managed to do the ring without getting ringburn (crashing into armco at a ton)

Evening all, just after some feedback if poss? I am a phone call away from getting a batch of these made (aside from a possible legal debate with them what own the 'Ring!) but it would mean a little investment on my behalf. What do you reckon? Will it sell? Any feedback appreciated, thanks.

i'm interested in purchasing a couple of theses if you still have them. surfboardchad2@yahoo.com

Hi, in the end I didn't get any made, but it's still something I might do one day.

Thanks for your interest anyway!
