Who quoted £390? There was a thread running on C5 insurance recently.

My best was £850 with Adrian Flux...

Went up from £650 as we moved from Cheshire to the South East...

Not happy - couldn't get it cheaper, and even had some ridiculous quotes for nearly £2K!!

I really don`t understand how car insurance works. I pay about £1000 for my Viper insurance and the car cost me £50k and just over £800 for the Skyline which only cost me £15k. Just doesn`t make sense to me. Both are with Hill House Hammond.

I pay £650 for my C4, fully comp unlimitied mileage with those nice people at Adrian Flux.

Imagine how much I laughed when they quoted me £1200 for the same cover on a £3.5k Impreza (er, I was thinking of it as a daily driver)

Insurance is a bit of a mare.

I pay £479 for the the Camaro, having declared the engine mods (Procharger etc) and £495 for our 94 vette both 5000 miles (although not a lot more if we go over)
and with myself and two other named drivers both with Highway through Adrian Flux having defected from HHH. The pace car is currently with HHH, unrestricted miles and Keith and I as drivers for £880 will prob look elsewhere in October! BTW all these are max no claims and protected
