Has North Hanover Street not been like that for years? I seem to remember similar feeling on it at some point, it's OK to travel down hill but not uphill?

You mean these signs :-) Bit like Killermont St at West Nile St where folk dont seem to understand meaning of the No entry sign, red tarmac with buslane written along it and that there is no uturn out of Buchanan galleries car park or Concert hall into Bus lane Drivers PAH! Found this http://www.glasgow.gov.uk/en/Residents/GettingArou... beware out there folk camaras dont give second chance Remember years ago traffic cop appearing from behind bus stop and booking someone on Great Western road at Byres road cutting in to inside about 1 car length before end of bus lane! Another one to watch I see regularly is at West George street into Renfield st The police regulary sit in Renfield st to catch folk turning right at Bus lane.

I've been done on North Hanover St before though to be fair I think I was only stopped because they thought I was going through the rest of the bus route and not into the Buchanan Galleries car park.
