Harmless, but what is the creature? It look like some kind of turd from a rather-ill dog.

Ineresting blurb from EDF:

'Introducing Blue +Price Promise, EDF Energy's new great-price, fixed tariff from low-carbon generation... Low-carbon electricity purchased for Blue is supplied into the National Grid. Blue customers receive electricity via the National Grid, not directly from low-carbon generators.'

That's like saying you'll supply drinking water, but actually you mix it with sewage and then deliver it with the sewage.

Not really though is it.
If the sewage was exactly the same stuff as the drinking water then you have a point.

Well, point was that if you are 'green' and want your electricity from renewables you wouldn't want it polluted with 90% electricity from nasty fossil fuels.

Yeah I know. Was in a mood and just being pedantic.

You are still paying for electricity to be produced in a green way though so it still makes sense if you are into that stuff.

It is kinda cool. Although at first I thought it was the follow-up to the last bowel cancer advert boxedin

Perhaps if they gave away a free 'Zingy' to every customer, they'd get more of them!

I must admit I found myself laughing at this advert waaaay more than I should have done! No idea why, but I guess if we're all talking about it, it's done it's job. smile

I like the adverts - actually made me watch and want to know what it was for, so I guess it did as was intended. Won't make me switch to EDF though......

Another great creative ad by Abbott Mead Vickers, I think they did some of the Guinness ones - remember the surfer with the horses? Oh and that Ribena farm one was cool

When I'm watching stuff off my digibox, if I'm skipping through the adverts I actually rewind to watch the 2 EDF ones. I flippin' love this wee guy. And it's also an absolute TUNE.
