a touch of killer instinct from beating a 22 year old tyson.

not the most technically gifted boxer, but the heart of a lion.

i echo frik's sentiments, but trying to block out morgan to listen to bruno.

Can't stand Piers Morgan, but really enjoying this, Frank is a proper funny bloke. My mum goes to the same gym/health club as him and says he always says hello and is a really down to earth bloke. A true character.

I followed his fights for years

I can't help feeling he's a a little drunk/punch drunk though? Presumably he's still on medication for his BP?

Piers Morgan is a monumental prick.

Trying to pull on his heart strings for a reaction.

Didn't Frank Bruno have a health scare a few years back? Is he managing or beating it?

That's what I can't stand about Piers Morgan, he's too confrontational and just goes for the reaction. Almost prides himself on it but comes across to me like a smug prick.

I had a bit to do with Frank in the mid nineties when he was still together with Laura. I was running the UK end of well known sports fashion company and Frank wanted some gear on a few occasions. I would have been quite happy to give it to him gratis but he insisted on paying for it - a first amongst athletes who are usually grasping individuals. I was also at a couple of events that he was attending, unpaid to help out friends, and he was always a complete gentleman, very polite and considerate and freely giving of his time. He's a super guy and it's very sad that he has gone through some tough times. Hopefully he is now on a happier path with his new partner and the future will be brighter.
