What comedy series am I thinking of?

I remember a comedy series (think it might have been on BBC3?) a few years back, all I can remember clearly is 2 of the main characters had a job coming up with music compilation CD's (like "American Rock 2" etc)

It was on at the same time as Pete vs Life I preferred Plus One. And from what I remember the female characters were more attractive!
