I'm just about to start fitting a new front spoiler, and am having difficulty finding the right paint. I have the bible but the "body code" appears to be different to the ones in the book. I have been told that the colour is a Ford one but don't know which. Any ideas?
The code is FEU 9173, it's an '84 350i in gold.

Thanks,
Gavin

Ring the facroty. They should be able to tell you what the Ford colour is called...

Good luck !

You will be better off getting it matched as the colour on the car will have undoubtedly faded/changed over the years. Also prevents the frustration when the factory can't find the colour in the records or the colour they quote comes in 20 different varients from the same manufacturer...

Gavin,

My wedge(350i 1987) is gold and my serial number plate shows the following code P422 0444. I have been told this is Ford Champange Gold?.

If you have any luck with your identification, could you please post the correct number.

many thanks

I phoned the factory earlier and they said the person/department I need to speak to is in till a week on Monday. As Steve said I will probably end up getting it matched, if I get a proper code I'll post it.
Cheers for the help

Gavin
