Am I alone in finding the jeering and shouting in PMQs appalling? It's an incessant barrage of jeering and shouting, causing those speaking to have to shout to be heard. It's most unseemly, and seems a world away from the civilised tones of yesteryear. It's more akin to a bunch of football hooligans yelling at each other - indeed, how long before there are chants and percussion instruments involved?

On the plus side, Galloway's face was a picture when CMD mentioned Miliband doing his bit for 'job creation'.. hehe

It is a disgrace. The worst part is this new thing started on the Labour benches (I think) of chanting whatever Milliband decides to punctuate his sentences with.

eg.

Blah, blah, cut.
Blah, blah, cut.
Blah, blah, (everyone) CUT!
Blah, blah, (everyone) CUT!

Ed Balls is particularly repulsive in this way.

I think it's incredibly disrespectful and does none of our political class any favours. Perhaps 'class' is actually what's missing.

Actually, a cursory glance back at Thatcher's era reveals it's not that much different.

We've been here before, about 10 years OK someone announced the 'end of yah boo politics'

Personally, ive no problem with it. In fact I wish they were a little more 'physical' like the Indians, russians and italians, who often come to fistycuffs or throw glasses of water at each other.

At least they seem passionate about the issues.

The worst is the US senate. None of them ever seem to get even mildly worked up about anything there.

It's embarrassing that other countries see our parliament acting like that - they may as well be shouting, "Your mum", and sticking their tongues out at each other. And yes, Ed Balls seems to be one of the worst, but then he is a prize tt.

Last week when Theresa May was going over the whole Quatada thing, I noticed halfway through the incredibly dull response from Yvette whats-her-name most of the front bench were talking amongst themselves and ignoring her completely.

Well I say this happened last week, in Theresa May's diary it probably says August 2007.

It's just a bit of fun relay. Entertainment for the partisans.
