Mean Cerbera spotted
Discussion
Travelling up the M1 yesterday (sorry, I wasn't driving and so wasn't really paying attention to where we were exactly - Yorkshireish - late afternoonish) I spotted a pretty serious looking Cerbera going the other way.
Seemed to be sporting the elevated rear wing of a racer (on the usual alloy drilled boot struts) - and was rather 'neon' in colour...
so have TVR started making GT racers for the road?
or
has a max-power muppet got his hands on one?
or
did someone take a wrong turn out of Croft circuit??
Any ideas what I saw (I'll pay more attention next time - honest!)

Heh - well the M1 on the Friday afternoon of a Bank Hol weekend is really only good for testing a cars ability to not overheat whilst travelling slower than you would on a bicycle of course
Newcastle-Watford setting off at 8:45AM - 210 mins (avg speed 68mph)
Watford-Newcastle setting off at 15:15PM - 350 mins
(avg speed 42mph!!!!)

Jamie Shaw (who is well known as a re-trimmer and modifier in the Max Power/Fast Car scene) has a Cerbera which he has been modifying (rumour's of 20" Wheels :-/) and is going to be unveiled at this year's "Max Power Live" show at the NEC. I know this because a lot of my mate's are still into their hot hatches etc (and my daily driver is a mildly modified Polo G40 )
Maybe it was this car you saw? I'm actually intrigued to see what the actual one will look like. Hoping it will actually turn out nice, but not convinced yet. I will probably end up going to the show so will post pictures. I think its sometime at the end of June/July.

Jamie's car is still in the paint shop (it will be a gold chameleon colour) and has no interior yet. It does have 20 inch wheels. It will have 9 tv screens inside and Nitrous injection. It also has a 747-size rear wing. It looks nothing like a Cerbera but it has some Zertec bits on it....
Max Power show at NEC is 12, 13, 14 July.
seems it was the day for spotting yellow cerbies with wings on .. customer of mine phoned me up after seeing it to say how awful it looked, thing is I kinda like that purple cerbie in the pic with the big wing .. don't know why owners get so upset about people personalising their cars - I think it's great
