Imagine my surpirse! I'm waiting to be picked up by the better half in the middle of WInchester, when a Porsche Boxster drives past me. It was bright bubble-gum, Barbie Doll PINK!! I trust this was not a factory option! Got to say, it turned every head, and you could hear everyone around exclaiming, "A pink Porsche!"
Anyone else seen it?

There is a beautiful pink 996 (GT2 I think) parked in a tiny front garden of a small cottage in hampstead. I can never seem to get a complete look as i drive past, but it is a gorgeous slightly dulled matt, but mettalic light Salmon Pink, never seen a colour like it. it looks like 1st class factory paint job on it, and it seems to have US plates. Is it anyone on here?
I like it. Beats silver! I might get my dick (TT) resprayed!
When I was younger a good friend of mine had a bright pink escort cab. We all laughted at him but it was always full of girlies. He said 'paint your car a colour girls will like, not men!'. Some truth in that when you're 17 I guess

I guess the trouble there is that certain men like the same colours as girls!
Actually, TBH there's no doubt that the Rubystone colour does work against the resale value of the car. An accountant (yes really) loved my car but didn't think he could live with the colour (I did tell him Porsche didn't paint them in that battleship grey any more)!
IMHO Maritime is the most valuable and sought after colour.
I'd always buy on condition rather than colour of course - unless it was Guards Red

HAIRDRESSER............
The Pink Boxter (with Classic style wheels?) was in the car Park of the Hotel Du Vin in Winchester on Monday night so may have been a visitor to the area. The driver obviously had a problem keeping the car within the parking space so draw you own conclusions as to who the driver might be!
Cheers, James.
