Imagine my surpirse! I'm waiting to be picked up by the better half in the middle of WInchester, when a Porsche Boxster drives past me. It was bright bubble-gum, Barbie Doll PINK!! I trust this was not a factory option! Got to say, it turned every head, and you could hear everyone around exclaiming, "A pink Porsche!"

Anyone else seen it?

Great stuff!
Porsche use to mark cars in cerise pink back in the early 80’s.
A mate of mine painted his one car with it! Certainly draws attention, but bubble gum pink is just – mad!

There is a beautiful pink 996 (GT2 I think) parked in a tiny front garden of a small cottage in hampstead. I can never seem to get a complete look as i drive past, but it is a gorgeous slightly dulled matt, but mettalic light Salmon Pink, never seen a colour like it. it looks like 1st class factory paint job on it, and it seems to have US plates. Is it anyone on here?

I think I've seen that Boxster on the M3, certainly turns heads.

Rubystone will be along shortly to sing the praises of pink Porsches I'm sure.

I like it. Beats silver! I might get my dick (TT) resprayed!
When I was younger a good friend of mine had a bright pink escort cab. We all laughted at him but it was always full of girlies. He said 'paint your car a colour girls will like, not men!'. Some truth in that when you're 17 I guess

I guess the trouble there is that certain men like the same colours as girls!

Actually, TBH there's no doubt that the Rubystone colour does work against the resale value of the car. An accountant (yes really) loved my car but didn't think he could live with the colour (I did tell him Porsche didn't paint them in that battleship grey any more)!

IMHO Maritime is the most valuable and sought after colour.

I'd always buy on condition rather than colour of course - unless it was Guards Red

Didn't Jordan say on Top Gear that she was going to order an Aston in Barbie Pink?

Maybe she changed her mind

The Pink Boxter (with Classic style wheels?) was in the car Park of the Hotel Du Vin in Winchester on Monday night so may have been a visitor to the area. The driver obviously had a problem keeping the car within the parking space so draw you own conclusions as to who the driver might be!

Cheers, James.

There is a very nasty Rubystone Red Boxster in Maidenhead. It works on a 964RS, not on a Boxster though. There is also a Riviera Blue 996, which looks a bit silly. Looks fine on a 993RS or 968CS, out of place on a boggo 996 though...

I saw a horrible metallic pink boxster in Windsor yesterday - it even had the abominable aerokit on it. Truly gopping...
