Dear All,

Thoughts welcomed on why my n/s indicators have decided to stay on? I have tried resetting the alarm which has a couple of times turned the indicator off and pulled fuses 6 and 29 to try and reset things? O/s indicators still work.

Current thinking is the alarm box problem, or indicator controller or damp somewhere given out in very heavy rain when it started.

Could be a stuck indicator relay. Try removing it and dropping it on the floor from chest height.

Mine did this once, when I took the alarm off,all offside indicators on. Pulled fuse for alarm flasher unit. Put back in, never had bother with it since.

NO, thats the alarm fuse, but remove and try. You need relay 32, for the indicators, 3rd down middle group of relays.

Mine does it as well and has been getting gradually worse to the point I've had to remove the hazard fuse to disable them. It's the alarm box itself starting to play up. There is an internal relay that controls the indicators when arming and disarming which sticks. Apparently the resolution is a refurbed alarm control unit.

Thanks all very helpful. I cannot get to the car until the weekend so I will let you know how I get on. If no luck I'll drop into see Carl Baker and then tell you what fixed it.

Holy thread revival.

Had the situation where the near side indicators stayed on. I have removed fuses, wiggled relays and now reading this thread think it is the alarm. All back to normal with the alarm fuse as mentioned earlier, removed.

Question. If I remove the alarm and see if the relay is something I can massage back to life will it all need resetting, not taken one off for years.

I have been having a similar problem, indicators staying on etc, along with doors not locking when alarmed. The only thing I did which has seemed to solve it was cleaning with contact cleaner the big plug and socket where the door ecus are, must be connected with alarm in some way but seemed to solve issues.

My update.

I pulled out the alarm and opened up the box. Gave the relay a few taps and it started working again. All put back together and it appears to be working.
