An informative post maybe....?
OK, a couple of questions for you which will help the PH masses steer you to the right areas

What are you looking for ?
Where are you located?
Are you in shape and decent looking with plenty of banter?
Are you prepared to invest time, money and deal with rejection?

Your future may depend on your responsesears
I, personally, are not looking for anything particularly at the moment. I just made an observation after reading this thread that a lot of people seem to spend a lot of time/money/effort to find someone of the opposite (or not) sex who is willing to jump into bed with them which raised the question about these other, no strings, websites.

I now know how you lot felt when I was saying things about my ex and you were all shouting at me to run away.

My best friend is getting involved with someone who is an alcoholic, gets very jealous about mine and my best friends relationship (to the point I posted a song on my friends Facebook wall as it's one she likes and the girl she is seeing has accused us of playing games), she refuses to meet my friends little daughter as well, gets stty if my friend doesn't reply straight away (so I've given her the nickname of Needy Baby Greedy Baby after hearing it on Big Bang Theory.

More to it, but yeah I can see how you felt lol.

Try a London walk.

Good fun, relaxed and they end near some decent eating places.

Surely you can't go wrong with a stroll down the South Bank: lots of stuff to see & do, plenty good eateries & places to drink (non alcoholic) beverages.

That's a £100+ date right there! bit steep for a 2nd date in my opinion.

Did the south bank with last night's one, bottle of wine, walk, oxo tower, wander over Waterloo Bridge, Radio Bar. Total bill £100 and that's 7-12 reasonable amount of booze in expensive places.

No dinner of course, but eating's cheating.

For booze free on a decent evening there's tonnes there, bite to eat, coffee, Tate modern, always random stuff going on, it's an easy option. River boat from the Globe towards Chelsea or cross over via the millennium bridge by the Tate, past St Paul's grab the boat to greenwich, wander up to the observatory, pretty much free from there with knicker wetting views and interesting stuff to look at if you like that kind of thing.

The cable car? That isn't cheap though.

It's an investment with hopefully future dividends. There's always window shopping followed by Harvester if you want to appear a tightwad.

You can rent a hooker for that with a guaranteed result...

If it flies, fks or floats rent it by the hour.

You'd rather rent a hooker for £100 than spend £100 on a date? Really?

Thanks for all the ideas, think I've got something to go with smile

London Aquarium. Last admission is at 7PM during the school holidays.

ETA for somewhere different: The Chelsea Physic Garden. This opens until 10PM on Wednesday evenings from 2 July – 3 September with last entry at 8.30PM. Take a picnic.

Fortunately I don't do dating these days but a mate and I once did a drunken cost/benefit analysis between hookers and a divorce. Hookers worked out far cheaper...
