So after more than one person said don't get involved, you went and stuck your oar in?

I did what I would want someone to do to me. I'm sure in time things will work out.

Well I had an interesting weekend the one before last. First up I met a 25 year old from Match who approached me and asked me to visit her at her house as she was really keen, but didn't have a babysitter available. We kissed and stuff, but I wasn't that attracted to her in person as I was in her photos. My view was she made the first move, so I had nothing to lose and went for it anyway. She said "text me when you get home", which I did and have had one message since. Blocked on WhatsApp and not answering texts. Her loss! smile Next up I met a Tinder girl I'd been messaging and then texting for a few weeks. The texts were getting hotter and hotter and we ended up doing things in my car in broad daylight in a beach carpark. biggrin She said she wanted to see me again, but she was very quiet last week then the dreaded text came to say she didn't want to see me again as she could only see us having a physical relationship and it's not what she's looking for right now.

Back to the drawing board again! smile

Please tell me "best friend" is not the girl with the kid...!

As per MC, leave well alone.
Don't think we got an answer to this Ki3r?

As Ki3r seems to do the exact opposite of what he is told in this thread, this could get amusing.

Ki3r, for the love of everything that's holy, DON'T confess everlasting man-love to your friend. hehe

They do have a kid, but it isn't the one you are thinking of!

So we've had plenty of 'mound of the hound of the Baskervilles', so how about some that seem too good to be true?

and this fine lady

http://www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=771...

Oh and yes, I will msg them tomorrow just to satisfy my curiosity, nothing more and not secretly thinking pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaseeee
First one looks like a sugar daddy wanted or scam profile. Too weird. What are these 'beliefs' I wonder.
Indeed, but 'how' does the scam work, unless she wants to see your bank account details before the 1st date including all internet banking logons and passwords.

Agree its a scam, her profile says she doesn't drink and one of the photos shows her holding a can of cider, I just don't see how the scam works unless Tonker is right, but who'd be that daft to take out cars/cards etc in the name of someone 20 years younger than themselves they barely know? Unless they are hoping to attract married men and blackmail them maybe?

Maybe I'm just too naïve... Hey ho, more interesting than reading 300 "I like meeting my friends or cuddling up on the sofa with a bottle of wine and I like to laugh"
well being a sugar daddy unknowingly is kind of a scam. Buy me things and I'll pretend I might give you a blowjob one day etc. Her not me.

A reverse image search should tell you all you need to know about this particular profile. N.B. NSFW.

I assume that everyone does the same, but it seems not.

Given the heave ho again…without even a reason this time

Seriously sucks having your head filled for 4 wks, only to be told 'nah I've changed my mind' in not so many words. Plus I've organised for wee man to be with his dad for the next 5 days (as we were meant to be spending them together), so not even got an excuse to make an effort to get out of bed frown

Then just to add to the joy, woke up to a livingroom full of dog turd…karma is a sick barsteward at times!

How do you do a reverse image search?

I know in chrome if you right click on a image you can select 'search google for images' or something.

Update:

Friend has deleted me off Facebook and fairly sure blocked me on whatsapp.

  • sigh*
Onwards and upwards, it's going to end up in tears.

You are a mong. They weren't your best friend if it is over like that - if they really were, I feel sorry for you.

Never face palmed so much since the days that Matt chap was on this thread.

That's the thing that annoys me. I was there for her when her step dad killed himself, I've been there when her family have treated her like st. Everything I've done has been for the best for her and her daughter.

Stupidly or not, I didn't apply for my dream job because it would mean moving away from them (and family, which I'm not too keen to do).

I've made one mistake (ok so it was a big one), and it's the end of what was a good friendship.

I've got a couple of busy days coming up, overtime with work today until 2300, then hopefully a busy shift tomorrow with my other job. But going to stick my phone in my locker and leave it there until I finish, then work on Friday is always busy. Saturday I'm going to see if I can meet up with another friend who I haven't seen for a while.

Funny thing is, whenever she meets someone new she pushes me out a little, never this much. Knowing her as well as I do, the relationship will fail, she'll come crawling back (making it seem all my fault, she's good at that!). This time though I don't know if I'm going to be there for her.
