I was wondering whether anyone knows if Garmin will be bringing out a sequel to the motorcycle aimed zūmo® 660. I'm considering buying one soon, but don't want to yet if a new one is expected soon!

Yes I did. I would have gone for the new 350LM, but this has the addition of an MP3 player and it also handles your phone calls.
It's expensive, but it's much better than a car sat nav that people use with one of those waterproof mounts as the screen works much better with gloves. If you don't need the phone and mp3, i'd go for the newer 350

How is the mapping? Ive read conflicting reports about Garmin and I only have experience of TomTom. As per my other post I need to connect to this http://www.terratrip.com/pro.html through either a wire or bluetooth. I see that both the 350 and 660 have audio out. Basically I will be using it in a van and car, plus a bike engined 7. The latter is the reason for the above paragraph!
