I'm a massive newbie when it comes to car repair and ATM I have on my hands a Ford KA which is about to have a replacement bonnet fitted following a minor crash. The bonnet is red in contrast with the fact the car itself is dark green! :P

Is respraying the bonnet myself or employing someone else to do it viable and how much would this cost or would I be best advised to leave it?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Is the car metalic green or solid green.
If it is not metalic you could paint with rattle cans and get a decent enough finish for about £60.

A bodyshop would probably charge from £150 upwards.
