So, driving out of Asda Clapham J on sat, despite going carefully and thinking I was "ok" I curbed my right rear Anthracite Evora forged wheel on the weekend - gutted. I had an elise for 3 years and not a scratch, havent even had the Evora for 3 months yet!

Anyway, damage isnt too bad, its confined to the "rim" none of the spokes are damaged but some metal is ground away and paint flaked off. If it was bare metal I would be comfortable to take it to most places but was thinking they will need to paint match the anthracite, hence the Q to the Lotus collective...? Any ideas? SW London would be my preference but willing to travel within reason (~100 miles) to get a pro job done.

Thanks

R

Similar thing happened to me about two months or so ago. Had the scuffed wheel refurbed at Hilton and Moss (Castle Sports cars) in Stansted. They use someone else in the area, but whoever it was did a very good job.

There has been a thread of here before about wheel refurbs with some suggestions.

Hope that helps

Thanks Alex, if I dont have any joy with people down here I will give them a try. You dont happen to know the paint code for the wheels do you? The few people I have asked have asked for that. I had a look on SELOC but all I can see are part codes for the wheels themselves. If not, no worries I have an outstanding call with B&C so could check with them.

right to anyone else that this happens too, according to B&C there is no paint code for the anthracite grey. The wheels have to be colour matched. TheSo, the wheels are off to "Spit n Polish" in Kent where many lotus dealers (B&C included) actually send their repairs. They are on google and and much cheaper then going via a garage.

Yes. I used them as well recently (and will be again...)
