So this did prove to be completely frivolous and is now for sale!

PM me if interested.

Somebody else can enjoy the frivoulity!
I'm a DJ on the weekends & had one of those, i'm currently in the process of trying to sell it to a friend as i decided to be frivolous at the start of the year & upgrade to this:

5 wheels, 4 with tyres. Not sure why really seemed a good idea at the time, I even drove 200 miles to get them. Just cluttering up the garage now, must get around to ebaying them.

O/T I saw Def Lepard twice in 2011, once in Florida and once at Wembley (with Motley Crue, meh, and Steel Panther, EXCELLENT!) and while I really enjoyed them both my opinion is that Joe Elliot's voice is past it - really seems to struggle in places, but he gives his all; gotta love him for that.
O/T To be fair, Joe couldn't sing live back in 1987 either when I saw Leppard on the Hysteria tour. I always wondered how many studio takes they made to get his vocals right, even back then.

Yeah, not cheap. I'm hoping I might be able to get away with the old ones... Actually I'm still waiing on my 12 point socket bit to show up so I can start breaking them down. Got a rather alarming quote from the wheel refurbishers to do the whole thing so I will have to DIY as much as poss.
I'm led to believe they fall apart during removal which makes replacement inevitable. Looks forward to the finished result anyway.

Ducati or Porsche? Either way- PICS PLEASE! biggrin and well done clap.

I don't see either of those as frivolous though-they are just too gorgeous smokin. Plus I'd like one of each myself-especially the Ducati.

yup - I've always thought they made it despite him rather than because. Weirdly though I can't imagine virtually any other Leppard songs being sung differently unlike many many other songs from other groups

I bought a load of air tools from aldi ,they are still in the packaging as I don't own a compressor ,they were bought with the pretence of obtaining one ,that was about 5 years ago, still no compressor.also bought a bread maker,it's made 1 loaf in 3 years ,it's on top of the cupboard gathering dust.

Direct from Lego and £75. I'm guessing you aren't' a VIP member so you'll have to wait until 1st August unless you have a local Lego shop and you can sweet talk them into selling you one

These could be good for cheaper extra batteries. Probably worth checking the dimensions compared to the existing one as they are slightly higher capacity http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewIt...

Guys , are there any cheaper alternatives for the Phillips hue lighting ? Really can't justify the price for those at the moment.
