In my view, anything that fires a laser is definitely worth the extra £44.

This is true.

Talking of which, I so want one of these:

Edit: $12.99 on ThinkGeek in the USA, £19.99 on Amazon.co.uk. They can jog on at that price.

If they have a real use they can't be that frivolous?
They will get used once, if not twice a year and I have plenty of sturdy trainers and maybe 4 pairs of wellies? definitely not a necessity

The related auto-levelling cross-hairs look uber-cool.

Getting ready for Winter up here so it was time for a new hat.

Coyote fur. (it's even got a bit of Something like Mary going on smile )

Which would normally be classed as essential however I've already got it's older brother which is Fox.

As a direct result of reading this thread:

Hmmm….

Pesky little blighter to fly although it's coming along after 2 batteries-worth. I can't remember how far back someone else posted this - how are you getting on with yours?

The Mini was a leaving present from work. Felt it required another Lego model to keep it company, hence the VW Camper. Frivolous but a very nice Lego model with some excellent attention to detail. I recommend either for Lego/car enthusiasts.

Snap! With my other frivolous purchase which I got the other day - Pro-Ject debut carbon esprit turntable.

Lego shop? One could spent many happy hours there, I suspect. End up with an empty wallet too! I dare not venture into such a store.

I completely agree. Thankfully there isn't a store near where I live, I was just on a day out.

I also got one, its relatively easy to hover and shimmy side to side, but turning it is difficult and when it gets far away or you are flying it towards yourself and the controls are reversed i panic and usually stuff it into the ground.

The thing is good at crashing though, I have done a few power cut crashes from 25ft+ to concrete and its been fine. This was maybe a good 30ft plus video i took, It was too windy to be flying it really and the wind just took it from me and i couldnt get it back so just cut the power and let it fall.

Can anyone clarify the camera operation, Its press top left button once to start filming, press it once again to stop?
I wish it took you on the controller if it was recording or not, as a few times ive done that annoying thing when recording what you dont want, then stop recording when you mean to start it. The only indicition it gives you is that flashing red led on the camera which is kind of hard to see.

Not as bonkers as the jet engine Espace, my first street bike:

I have no clue how to use it, never sat on such a bike and I'll probably hate the way it handles,
but I guess it's decent value (800 pounds).

I don't need a new saddle for the road bike. At all. It has one, I don't find it uncomfortable.

But. Look.

All handmade by one chap in Rossano Veneto, Italia.

109 grams or less guaranteed.
I'm not sure sitting on that for a few hours makes sense at any price.... Oooowwwwccchh frown

I'm presuming that you are measuring the distance of absolutely everything to absolutely everything, and will continue to do so until the batteries run out? smile

A 64GB USB drive that is barely bigger than the USB plug itself.

I have very little need of yet another USB drive other than
a) it is totally cool and
b) will look slightly neater sat in the front USB port of my car stereo than a normal drive.
