Just picked up a Chromecast.
I've already got a PS3 under the smartTV (but the TV doesn't have Netflix..)

I really don't need it.. but it's such a shiny toy...

PS3 does have netflix, though.

And has a better picture than the chromecast for netflix.

So yes, very frivolous.

Good doorstop, though smile.

Slightly cheaper today, it was £34.01 when I bought it. I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to arrive, it'll probably arrive after Christmas given that it's coming via free shipping from China.

That's the one that I have, a good build, you'll need a sharp knife and a decent screwdriver otherwise the screws round.

Netatmo weather station.

Will sync up nicely with the WeatherPro app I use yes Cloud recording, indoor CO2 levels etc

Definitely frivolous, but definitely cool
More details required please, Mrs Cjelli is a teacher and really shown an interest in this for her school.

Anyone got any alternative suggestions for weather stations? The one box, integrated app nature of this seems ideal.

Find a 'Menkind' gadget / trinket /man cave shop. That's where I got mine.

Well I didn't think it was frivolous, and it was for a good cause.
Can anyone tell me what the capped inlet/outlet pipe is for?

Presumably to switch between straight through side pipes and the standard muffled exhaust system?

I looked at this and to me (with admittedly limited knowledge) it appeared to be an American pushrod V8. Whether this matters or not is of course down to individual preference.
