Back on topic... my Z4 was shunted from behind a couple of years ago and I used Europa Consultants (anniesdad is his PH name) to sort it out, I borrowed a 987 2.7 Boxster Sport Edition. Knocked spots off the Z4 in terms of handling, sounds, styling and interior so you're definitely on the right track here with this one. I've also driven a fair few 997 cabriolets and I would take the Boxster over one of them without a second thought, sod the 'poor mans Porsche' sticker. The 3.4S must be an absolute weapon.
