Off the back of Fastlane 2012 I have decided to put together a regular meet in Corbridge, The Last Tuesday of each month from 6:30 we will hold a totally relaxed car gathering at and around The Dyvels Inn, No restriction's in terms of car type, simply come along, meet like minded people and have a look around some of the area's nicest motors from Supercars to Vintage, everyone is invited.

Good idea...free beers? When the Tamora has an engine I'll happily have a run up! (Thumbs up for Fastlane 2012 by the way)

Might have a look down once I've got the Commodore SS, before I move to west Cumbria - not that I'll be able to hang around long, tuesday night is TA drill night.

Wanted you to do this for years Dave!
Hope it becomes something to really look forward to, when I actually get some free time!

Sounds good Me and the other Carlisle boys always like a run across the A69 to Corbridge! I know it sounds really daft, but you should actually list the months and dates clearly then splash that about as some people cannot be arsed try to remember 'the last Tuesday in every month' and would rather just stick the dates into their phone etc

Thanks for all of the thumbs up for the monthly meet idea. Hopefully it can become a good one with a little word of mouth
May 29th June 26th July 31st August 28th September 25th Etc etc etc
It's quite simple, there will be no room for idiots, If anyone comes along and decided's to start messing around in a dangerous manor reg's will be taken and the appropriate phone calls will be made.
Sadly they are out there, 300 car's @ Fastlane 2012 and we had 2 knacker's decided to start messing around in there car's, quite simple, they don't get back in next year

Only one I saw was an old blue 5 series sliding about? Have to admit it looked like fun but a field full of cars and people is hardly the right time or place. There's always a minority that spoil things for others...?

There was a bit of a sense of mischief on the day but that is nearly unavoidable when you put so many fast cars together. Porsche Turbo doing some big overtakes on the way through Riding Mill, a couple of guys inside and out of the show revving to shoot a few flames, people leaving the show giving it a bit of leather on the way out of Corbridge and the sound of some engines tearing through the gears echoing in from the surrounding countryside, but nothing dangerous, apart from that dynorod Mini who made a rather hasty exit and was seen by some other PHers driving like a tit on the way home. Whats the story with the cars not getting invited back next year? It would be a real shame if people were sullying the reputation of what was and is a great event by driving dangerous, or doing something stupid like churning the field or the carpark up by drifting or something stupid like that.

Had a great response to the Last Tuesday night of the month idea, I thought it would take a few months to get going but really pleased with the people who have said they will pop down, from an Aston Martin to a V8 Land Rover, fingers crossed we'll have a decent turnout, Any questions just ask but it's fairly simple really, just turn up lol

I thought the idea of a cruise was that you drove the car around the roads!

Had a pleasant run out to this tonight. Some interesting cars on display, including the Landrover to the left of shot. Now that made an interesting noise as it drove up Station Road!

we turned up a bit later, but you'd all gone.
It might be sound to leave a message where you've gone behind the bar for stragglers ?
but had a good look at the Mercedes parked right outside - it's been a long time since I saw a car in as good condition as that.
Back next time
