Hi All,

My C5 is having its final service under warranty in 3 weeks up at BM (done 25K Miles). Is there anything I specifically need to ask them to look at? I have the below.....

1. Standard Oil/Filter
2. Handbrake tighten/check
3. Fuel Gauge Erratic (perhaps a flash of the memory)
4. Boot slow to open via remote (memory flash?)
5. Key Battery?
6. Tyre levels
7. Tyre pressure gauges
8. Small rust on the inside of the wheel near the brakes.. Probably nothing.

Its due its first MOT after this. I would appreciate any suggestions to add to the list!

Many thanks all

A common fault is a loose drivers seat (rocks back and forward slightly under acceleration and braking). If yours suffers from this, there is a factory fix under warranty.

Ask them about the Column Lock recall and when they will be doing it.

That handbrake adjustment is going to cost you over £150 on its own. Geoff will do it for a lot less.

Hi Richard. Thanks for reminding me! I just want BM to check and see if it is a problem or if it just me not used to Corvette Handbrakes. If it is I will Geoff a shout!

They are doing the standard service for £280+VAT. Then hopefully it can trundle off for the MOT without any problems.

August is the expensive month, what with service, tax, mot (at least not insurance as well!)
